askanexpert.culture.info is an opportunity for people working in, or interested in, arts and culture to directly engage with experts from across the globe in a particular cultural area or theme. 

Interested experts and users are invited to register as new members of this service - membership is free to all.

askanexpert.culture.info will offer members a place where they can ask an expert a question, either by:

• Selecting an expert from the experts database who has expertise relevant to their query (this can be done by a keyword or an advanced search based on selecting certain criteria) - the member's query will then be sent to that expert for their response.
• Searching existing topics for one which matches their area of interest - and then joining in with a new question or a contribution to the existing discussion.
• Suggesting a new topic

If a question is sent directly to an expert. then that expert can respond to the question.  The expert may reply directly, or may choose to respond by adding to an already existing online discussion.

askanexpert.culture.info will develop as an important resource and archive providing questions and answers on a range of topics of interest to the arts and cultural sector.  The homepage will also highlight recently added and popular discussions.

Please note that:

• the length of the expert's response is up to the expert! Experts are providing responses free of charge and therefore it is understood that responses are likely to be limited in scope.
• a member may wish to make separate contact with one or more experts about them providing more detailed responses - and experts are free to use their replies to offer fee-based services.
